ShortLibrary doesn't collect anything.

What ShortLibrary reads
On the Mac, ShortLibrary asks the Shortcuts app, through the macOS Automation permission you grant, for the names, folders, colors, icons and action counts of your shortcuts. If you choose to link the Shortcuts folder, it also reads Shortcuts' own database on your Mac for each shortcut's associated app and its creation, modification and last-run dates. Both are read-only and happen entirely on your Mac. On iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro the helper shortcut sends the same information to the app on your device.
What ShortLibrary stores
Your folders, tags, favorites, notes and smart lists, together with the shortcut details above, are stored in a database inside the app's sandbox and mirrored to the private database of your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit, so your devices share them. Only you can read that database. We have no access to it.
App icons
To show the icon of an app-based shortcut, ShortLibrary first looks for the app on your Mac. If it isn't installed, it asks Apple's iTunes Search API for that app's artwork by its bundle identifier. That request contains the app identifier and nothing about you or your shortcuts, and is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
What ShortLibrary collects
Nothing. ShortLibrary has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not transmit your shortcuts or any personal data to us or to anyone else.
Updates
The Mac app checks beardfm.app for new versions using the open-source Sparkle framework. That request carries the app's version and your macOS version so the right update can be offered, and nothing else. You can turn automatic checks off in Settings.
